ADMINISTRATION COMMISSION
This multi-functional commission assists the parish staff to effectively plan, organize, manage and maintain the business, property and personnel of the Parish. In addition, this Commission develops and carries out the parish stewardship programs in ministry, finance and prayer and in a clear accurate manner, communicates information to all parishioners. It also plans for future needs of our parish.
FINANCE COMMITTEE This committee is responsible for coordinating the business affairs of the parish, which include preparation of a budget, long term goals, proper upkeep to the total physical plant and keeping the parishioners informed on the activity of the parish, both in terms of physical and monetary items.
MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE This committee works on and assists with projects concerning the physical plant. They work closely with the finance committee to meet the needs of the parish. Meetings are called as needed and a workday for volunteers is usually the first Saturday of the month.
CEMETERY COMMITTEE This group is responsible for both maintaining the grounds as well as assigning plots for the needs of the individual at both St. Theresa and Sacred Heart (Cornerview) cemeteries. Updating the schematic of the cemeteries - St. Theresa and Cornerview, is in need of revision.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE The need to communicate to the parish is essential in keeping the parishioners informed Volunteers to help with the weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter is needed. In a world of electronics, the need to communicate via internet/Web page is essential to meet these changing times. In addition, the challenge of networking and updating our computer system is always present. The main responsibility of the committee would be to keep St. Theresa growing in that area and help the staff discern the needs and direction needed to keep abreast of the growing technological evolution.
PARISH SOCIALS St. Theresa has had a long tradition of membership coming together for fun and fellow ship. The need to re-institute such a tradition requires leadership and volunteers to coordinate special events as well as annual functions. |
